The friendly staff at Tully Dental are well trained in the state of the art procedures and are ready to make your next trip to the dentist a comfortable and relaxed one.  Dr. Paul Tully has over 20 years of experience in the dental health field and is great with children.  The hygienists each have over 20 years of experience, as do the chairside assistants.  All this experience means that you can rest assured that you will receive the best possible treatment, diagnosis, and care as a patient at Tully Dental.
staff-drptully Dr. Paul Tully – I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baltimore College of Dentistry at the University of Maryland. I graduated with honors in Geriatric Dentistry and Practice Management. I have been practicing dentistry since 1995 and am a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association. I also donate time and service to area schools and the community.  To stay abreast of new techniques and technology in dentistry I seek opportunities to continue my education. My goal is to make your visit to Tully Dental comfortable while creating for you a healthy and beautiful smile.
Heather Heather Leatherman – Office Manager – I graduated in 1996 from Gettysburg Highschool and started working for Dr. Tully in 1998.  I have completed my X-ray certification and CPR training.  My responsibilities include front office management, patient accounts receivable, daily and monthly reports, and coordinating the appointment schedule for the office.
  Kim Trostle – Dental Assistant – I grew up in the York Springs area.  I am a 1978 graduate of Bermudian Springs Highschool and continued my education by taking courses at the University of Maryland and Montgomery County Community College.  I joined Dr. Tully’s staff in 1993.  I am certified in CPR and first aid, and am also X-ray certified.  I also do expanded functions and various lab procedures including sterilization.  I enjoy doing inventory and ordering supplies.  My love of taking care of people and dentistry has been very rewarding.
  Tammy Markey – Dental Assistant – I am a 1981 graduate of Eastern High school in Wrightsville, PA and began my career with Dr. Tully’s team in 1985.  My major responsibility here in the office is to assist with patient care in the treatment rooms.  I also assist with examination procedures such as blood pressure screenings, charting, taking health histories, X-rays, and impressions for diagnostic models.  I help in all phases of restorative, endodontic, prostetic and surgical procedures.  I also make temporary crowns and perform some laboratory procedures.  I am CPR certified and have passed the Radiographic Examination required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.  I have also taken a course in emergency medicine.  I enjoy working with the staff and people that visit our office every day.
  Maria Johnson – Dental Hygienist – I graduated from Allegheny Community College, Cumberland, Maryland in May 1988 with a degree in Dental Hygiene.  I practiced in Maryland for eight years and returned to my hometown of Gettysburg in 1996 where I continued to work part time in dentistry.  I was thrilled to join Dr. Tully’s staff in 2008.
Lisa Tully – Bookkeeper/CFO – I have worked primarily behind the scenes at Tully Dental doing accounts payable and payroll since 1997.  You may occasionally see me working at the front desk checking patients in and out as well.  I also have a background in commercial insurance.  I graduated with a degree in Economics from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia in 1987.
  Christina Camara (Chris) – Hygienist – I am a graduate of Boiling Springs Highschool and Cumberland Perry Area Vocational Technical School where I received a certificate for Dental Assisting.  I worked as a Dental Assistant and a Hygiene Assistant before pursuing my career in Hygiene.  I completed my Dental Hygiene degree at Harrisburg Area Community College in 2003.  Since that time, I have worked in Carlisle in a private practice dental office and as an adjunct faculty member in the Hygiene clinic at HACC.  I joined Dr. Tully’s staff in March 2017.
